Calendar


The Calendar provides an at-a-glance summary view of selected employees' data for the specified time period (day, week, work week, month).

All the records for a particular day (attendance, absences, and expenses) are displayed as short entries in the calendar cell.

You can select any time period with the versatile time navigation controls that allow you choose a particular date (including the current day) and scroll from it in 1 to 5 increments (the size of the current time unit) to earlier or later moments in time.

 

To view an entry if it is only partially displayed, place the cursor over the line.

 

To change an entry:

  • Double-click the entry or select the entry, then select Open from the drop-down Edit menu.
  • The corresponding form opens (attendance, absences, or expenses), where you can make the required changes as well as delete or duplicate this entry, or define a new one.

The Calendar Toolbar

Visible Period

Use to select the time period: arrows to scroll back and forth in increments equal to the time unit selected in the View box.

Today Button

Click to select the current day.

Go To Date Button

Use to select a specific date.

Active View

Use to specify the time period (day, week, work week, month) for the calendar unit display.

View Menu

Contains two options.
 
Date Navigator:
to display the calendar where you can select any date.
 
Weekend:
to show Sundays and Saturdays when the active view is set to month.

Edit Menu

Use to open, duplicate, edit in the Weekly Entries form, or delete the selected entry
