The Statistics View
Statistics presentation is selected with the Statistics button on the Presentation toolbar on the right. In Statistics presentation the selected (and filtered) data is displayed in aggregated format, according to the selected interval, in a laterally scrolling window.
Total and Grand Total columns appear at the end of the table.
The Statistics view displays the totals of numerical parameters for the selected data items for a specified time period. The data display can be customized with the help of controls in the Statistics toolbar. Use the statistics view to take a look at a "bigger picture," for example, to evaluate the performance of an employee for the previous year: total attendance hours vs. total absences, the breakdown of absences (total sick leave, total vacation, etc.), total paid transportation expenses, etc.
Period | Use the controls in the Period group to:
(the window to the right displays the currently selected time period). |
Interval | Use this control to specify the time interval for which to calculate the totals: by week, by day of week (i.e., all Mondays, all Tuesdays, etc. in the specified period), by month, by quarter, by year. |
Detailed | Use this control to display the details of the items included in the totals, depending on the selected series. For example, if you select Absence Types => unpaid leaves, the Statistics view shows the total hours of unpaid leaves for the selected intervals; with the Detailed toggle on, the employees who took an unpaid leave are listed, with totals per Employee.

Expand / Collapse buttons | Use this control to expand/collapse all records in the Detailed mode. When Detailed is on, the Expand All / Collapse All buttons are enabled, and next to each listed item an individual expand/collapse button (triangle) is displayed. Using the combination of these buttons you can expand individual records while having all the rest collapsed. |
View Menu | Use the View menu to control the display of data in the Statistic View. Subtotal: Enabled when grouping by month, quarter, or year is on to display the subtotal of the year in the right column. Grand total: Shows/hides the Grand Total row and column.
Color series: Toggles the highlighting of the numerical values in the Statistics View. |
Row Height | Use this slider control to adjust the row height in the Statistic View. |
